Da poco ho cambiato SO (da WIN98 SE a XP PRO) e ho un problema con la mia stampante Lexmark 3200.
Non me la riconosce, allora vado a cercare i driver sul sito. Viene scritto che esiste una versione internazionale del driver compatibile con XP e 2000. Lo installo seguendo le istruzioni contenuto nel file di testo. Poi mi viene scritto che il driver non è firmato e potrebbe non essere compatibile con XP (c'erà scritto anche nel file di testo, ma diceva che non era importante). Allora io proseguo con l'installazione, riavvio Windows e provo a stampare un doc, ma niente... IL PC NON RIESCE A COMUNICARE CON LA STAMPANTE. 8( 8( 8(
Cosa devo fare??? Devo rassegnarmi a tornare a 98??? (anche con la scheda video e quella audio avevo problemi di driver, ma li ho aggiornati e tutto è a posto.... solo sta maledetta stampante! ! ! !

Instructions for installing the Lexmark System Driver in Windows 2000
1.) Save the Lexmark driver file to your computer (Desktop is recommended)
2.) A.) Double-Click the downloaded file on your computer to expand it. Choose Unzip to unzip the file to the C:\LxkZxx directory (where xx is the model number of your printer).
B.) Click Start, Settings, Printers, Add Printer.
C.) Follow the instructions on the screen. When asked to select the manufacturer and model of your printer click the 'Have Disk' button.
D.) Click the Browse button and go to the folder where you expanded the downloaded file (the default is C:\LXKZxx). Choose Open, then OK.
E.) Lexmark Zxx Color Jetprinter should appear. Choose Next. Follow the on-screen instructions.
F.) If you are prompted to Replace or Keep Existing Driver, choose Replace.
G.) When asked if you wish to print a Test Page, choose No.
H.) If you see a message that says "Digital Signature Not Found", choose Yes to
continue. The driver will install correctly.
The Lexmark Zxx Color Jetprinter is now ready to print!
ehm.... non mi sono accorto che lo spinotto della stampante non era ben collegato ad essa (c'era alimentazione ma non comunicava col PC)
Comunque il problema resta perchè i driver non hanno la firma digitale. Infatti la stampante funziona a metà: stampare stmapa, ma non funziona il programma di controllo... mi viene scritto IL COMPUTER NON RIESCE A COMUNICARE CON LA STAMPANTE)
