New Features

This release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite includes Crossfire™ enhancements that enable the Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) Crossfire rendering mode by default so that users will see significant performance benefits across all AFR compatible applications immediately (including newly released applications, so users do not have to wait for a future ATI Catalyst™ release to add Crossfire™ support for newly released titles). Future ATI Catalyst™ releases will add further Crossfire™ performance gains once new applications have been profiled specifically for Crossfire™.
Issues Resolved in the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite 7.1

The following section provides a summary of the issues that are resolved in the latest release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite. These include:

• Desperados 2: The game no longer fails to play and display an error in atioglxx.dll when AA is enabled. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25109
• Rome: Total War: Display corruption is no longer noticed when playing the game on an AMD Dual Core or Intel Dual core system containing an ATI X1800 series product. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25103
• Sniper Elite: Playing the game under Windows XP with a Radeon™ X1600 series installed no longer results in texture corruption being noticed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-22820

Linux Kernel 2.6.19 Support

• This release of the Catalyst® Linux software suite supports version 2.6.19 of the Linux Kernel.

X.Org 7.2 Support

• This release of the Catalyst® Linux software suite provides support for the official X.Org 7.2 release. The previous Linux Catalyst release (8.32.5) supported the X.Org 7.2 RC2 release only.

Resolved Issues

• Enabling Stereo on a FireGL V5000 no longer results in corruption being noticed on the X-Windows desktop
• Running through the package generation installation of the ATI Proprietary Linux driver no longer results in the continue button remaining greyed out when selecting a package to be generated
• The ATI Control Panel no longer gets installed when running through the Custom Installation and de-selecting the Control Panel component
• Connecting two display devices and switching the overlay to the secondary display device no longer causes aticonfig to fail

Il pacchetto contiene sia la versione a 32bit sia la versione a 64bit.

Una volta installati il nome della scheda verrà rilevata come una Asus, non preoccupatevi, è normale anche se la vostra vga è di un'altra marca.

Li ho testati personalmente e sono OK.

senza no.. mi pare che una volte ci fossero degli sviluppatori amatoriali che avevano riadattato il vecchio control panel..


cmq una volta installato il ccc, basta disattivarlo da msconfig.exe, se devia ccedervi lo carichi naturalemente, ma se non lo carichi in auto all'avvio su XP non ci sono problemi.. io su xp l'ho disattivato ^_^
