    Sonno Problema MONITOR

    Finalmente sono riuscito ad abilitare il 3D sulla mia ATI.

    Per settare la ATI ho dovuto prima installare il "Kernel-Source" rpm che sta nel terzo cd di installazione in questo modo potevo fare il famoso "./make.sh" che prima mi dava sempre errore.
    Come secondo ostacolo ho dovuto "imparare" come si acquisiscono diritti di lettura/scrittura su file dato che il "make.sh" mi dava "permesso negato" nonostante fossi già su "#".
    Finalmente potevo fare il fglrxconfig.

    Dopo aver dato tutte le indicazioni mi trovo a dover fornire le impostazioni di refresh del monitor.
    Sono stato un po' sul sicuro con le risoluzioni.
    In pratica adesso mi ritrovo con il Linux che mi parte in 640X480.
    Fortunatamente "glxinfo | grep rendering" mi da conferma che la scheda video e' installata correttamente.
    Ma se provo a cambiare le impostazioni del monitor,non mi si riavvia più in modalità grafica.!

    Utilizzando l'interfaccia grafica (da buon utonto di Linux8( ) riesco a provare nuovi settaggi del monitor.
    Mi fa fare il TEST prima di riavviare.
    In personalizzato non mi va (con nessuna combinazione).
    In predefinito non mi va (con nessuna combinazione).
    Prima era configurato come "plug 'n play" ma adesso non so perche' non mi fa più selezionare l'opzione.

    Il mio monitor è un CRT Samsung SyncMaster 753s

    Come posso fare...HELPPPP !!!

    Se vuoi utilizzare una risoluzione superiore, per esempio 1280x960, e la tua scheda supporta anche il 1152x864, dovresti aggiungerle in ordine crescente dopo il 1024x768, come ho fatto con quest'ultimo

    Problema monitor RISOLTO !!!!

    Grazie ragazzi!!!!

    L'unica cosa è che se faccio (tramite X) "Configura il tuo computer" mi da come risoluzione corrente "640x480" e invece sono a 1024x768...boh.

    A parte questo dettaglio va benissimo ))

    Domandina:
    Perche' quando avvio mi da "Attivo l'interfaccia Eth0 .......[FALLITO]" ??
    Posso far qualcosa per farla diventare [OK] come tutto il resto??
