April 08, 2004 - There may be more gaming fear on the horizon. After shaking up the world of survival horror gaming with the first Siren (Forbidden Siren in Europe), the group of developers inside Sony Computer Entertainment working on "Project Siren" may be considering a sequel.
At the Siren website, the team has posted a job listing soliciting programmers, character designers, motion designers and stage designers. At the top of the page is the following text: "Project Siren Production Staff. We're seeking out production staff. Will not ask if you have game production experience. Those who have great ability in a major field, experience or the desire to work hard. We want ideas that have not yet appeared in other games."
Sounds like the makings of a sequel to us. Siren was our Japanese channel's Japan-only Game of the Year for 2003, so we'll of course keep an eye out for new developments.
