Carattere delle pagine web e altre domande

Ragazzi, ho bisogno del vostro aiuto: quando sono su internet il carattere delle pagine è una specie di Times new roman ed è veramente illeggibile, sapete come lo posso cambiare?
Poi, siccome mi servirebbe una risoluzione di 1158 x 875(circa) nelle opzioni arriva solo a 1024x768 mi spieghereste come cambiarla? Ah e poi sapete come cambiare La frequanza di aggiornamento del monitor che è impostata a 60mhz?

1) In Internet Explorer: Visualizza>Carattere

2) Se il monitor non la supporta non la supporta...

3) Proprietà Schermo, vedi Impostazioni>Avanzate, dipende dallo schermo naturalmente.
