10.0 Presentation
A true storybook game, the fresco-painting cut-scenes are a perfect idea and the controls are very intuitive. Albion is a very dense world that has a rich history.

9.0 Graphics
Beautiful environments and great details on your character. The bloom lighting is a nice touch of the fantastic and the magic looks great. Occasional framerate drops and repetitive NPC skins hurt.

9.0 Sound
Beautiful opening score from Danny Elfman and plenty of great voice dialogue. Some of the sounds get repetitive and I wish a few of the creatures sounded a bit more varied.

9.0 Gameplay
It's lost a lot of what would have made it revolutionary, but the combat is good and the game is still a lot of fun. Some of those NPC reactions are priceless. Great humor.

10.0 Lasting Appeal
Sure, the main adventure is short for an RPG, but there's reason enough to play again. Plus, the world is dense with secrets and fun stuff. It's great to just fool around for a while.

uhm....la cosa che mi lascia perplesso è che per IGN fable è inferiore a Final Fantasy X-2 e a Kotor.....................altra cosa che mi lascia perplesso è che un casual gamer lo può portare a termine in meno di 20 ore e che sia molto facile........

In definitiva fable avrebbe perso molto di quello che ne avrebbe fatto un rpg rivoluzionario,ma che rimane ugualmente un buon gameplay.

uhm....personalmente me lo aspettavo diverso da come ne parlano le recensioni.

In definitiva pare essere un 'ottimo gdr,ma non "il gdr definitivo" come molti si attendevano.

Casual gamers who want a quick experience and some fun can run around the surface of the world, complete the main quest and sidequests, and get out after 15-20 hours of play. However, those who want a little more detail can read into the history of the world, learn a bit more about why certain events have importance. Then you can go a little deeper if you like, interact with NPCs, get married, have censored sex, buy and rent property, sell merchandise, kill everyone in a town (though they will respawn over time), play with kids, terrorize kids, kick chickens, or just get piss drunk and vomit all over yourself. And there is another layer after that. If you really want to spend a good 50-100 hours in Fable, go searching for all of the Easter Eggs -- Unlock ever silver chest, stumble upon time-sensitive events, figure out how to get hold of the Sandgoose, whatever that may be, or conquer the world with a frying pan.

Il sistema di gestione di reputazione, il livello di interazione sociale sono, a quanto pare, rivoluzionari. Non è esistito nemmeno un gioco che implementasse in maniera sufficiente questo aspetto del gdr. Non troverai un gioco che abbia queste caratteristiche. Sinceramente ancora non ho capito quali siano le rivoluzionarie funzioni che sono state espromesse, quello che contava c'è ancora...

Come dicevo nell'altro thread, mi sarei aspettato un voto superiore a 9.5.
9.3 e' una votazione senz'altro eccellente, ma dopo aver visto con che frequenza uscivano gli speciali, gli hands-on, e le preview di questo titolo sicuramente pensavo che IGN lo premiasse un po' di piu'.

Yup! A parte il comprare e vendere immobili e il dar calci alle galline (anche se una gallina un po' speciale c'e' anche in F2), mi sembra di leggere le caratteristiche di Fallout 2

che vuoi che ti dica....tutte le rece parlano di 20 ore.
Tra l'altro guardate che le rece dicono che per completare il gioco una prima volta,con le subquest,occorrono 20/25 ore..........solo successivamente si aprono ulteriori sub quest,quindi per farle bisognerebbe rigiocarci.

Se posso ipotizzare una spiegazione, Andrea Babich s'e' preso giustamente tutto il tempo possibile per analizzare al meglio (relativamente al tempo limitato) la maggior parte degli elementi del gioco.
La durata di 20h circa sara' indicata per il giocatore medio, al quale alcune caratteristiche non interessano (es. non tutti faranno i mercanti, alcune quest secondarie verranno "lasciate per strada" da molti giocatori, ecc.).
