Visto che ogni giorno qualcuno si becca un virus strano o qualcuno vuole chiedere informazioni precise su qualche antivirus o firewall, perchè non postare tutto in un unico thread? Ecco una lista in fase sperimentale:

AntiVirPE scaricabile da www.free-av.com.
Un efficace e leggerissimo antivirus gratuito e poco invasivo. No ha la scansione automatica delle mail. Sembrerebbe tra i migliori.

ZoneAlarm FREE. ottimo firewall molto facile da configurare ma con opzioni molto limitate rispetto alla versione a pagamento. ottima la protezone e il controllo dei programmi e delle intrusioni(gli avvisi possono essere rimossi)

Sygate personal firewall. Questo firewall è free, cioè può essere scaricato liberamente nella sua versione base. Esiste anche una versione Pro più professionale per i più esigenti anche se il normale firewall è già più che sufficiente.
E' in inglese e un po' impegnativo per chi non ha idea di cosa siano questi software. A parte questo non risulta difficile da usare e la sua funzionalità è ottima. Di sicuro da scaricare. Il link http://smb.sygate.com/default.htm.

Kaspersky. Ottimo antivirus. Forse il migliore sulla piazza. Esiste la versione italiana, aggiornamenti continui, controllo delle mail e molto affidabile. I lati negativi sono principalmente 2:
- "Ruba" parecchie risorse (meno cmq del Norton)
- E' a pagamento
Sì può trovare la versione trial sul sito ufficiale dell'antivirus http://www.kaspersky.com/index.html in cui si possono anche scaricare diversi tool per la rimozione di alcuni virus.

Avast. Antivirus free davvero interessante. Comprende il controllo delle mail. Ogni giorno aggiornamenti sia delle definizioni dei virus ma anche del programma. Permette una buona personalizzazione del programma con le diverse skin presenti ( o che possono essere scaricate). Un'altra nota positiva è la possibilità di avere questo antivirus in italiano scaricabile direttamente da http://www.blufile.it/avast/avast.htm.

AVG. Insieme ad Avast e AntivirPE è considerato uno dei migliori. Ecco dove ottenerlo http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php.

Norton Antivirus 2005. Un ottimo antivirus ricco di funzioni e con un motore di scansione efficente. Rispetto alle passate edizioni è stato ottimizzata anche la ricerca di virus su archivi, email e dialer. Peccato per le prestazioni rallentate una volta installato(il computer risulta certe volte anche il 250% più lento!). Aggiornamenti settimanali. Il software è a pagamento(anche l'abbonamento agli aggiornamenti)

Norton Personal Firewall 2005. Il miglior software di sicurezza made in Symantec. La protezione è pressochè totale e le prestazioni di internet non vengono penalizzate più di tanto. Ottimo comportamento contro i Trojan e i Backdoor. Le porte, una volta installato il programma, sono completamente chiuse e si può navigare in sicurezza. Fastidiose le numerose finestre di allarme. Ottimo il controllo dei programmi. Aggiornamenti settimanali. Software a pagamento anche per quanto concerne gli aggiornamenti.

Nod32. Discreto antivirus facile da usare, leggerissimo per il sistema, con buone funzionalità e scansione efficente. Il software si divide in moduli: Amon la scansione in tempo reale, Imon per la scansione della posta, un terzo modulo per la pianificazione delle attività, e un quarto che viene installato solo in presenza di Microsoft Outlook con attivate le funzionalità per l'azienda. Compresa una funzione di quarantena gestibile dall'interfaccia principale. Aggiornamenti più volte a settimana. Non rileva dialer, adware e altri intrusi dal web. A pagamento anche gli aggiornamenti.

Ad-Aware Tra i migliori programmi di ricerca di spyware e chiavi di registro infette. Oramai è diventato diffusissimo proprio per la sua semplicità e completezza. Piuttosto facile da usare e da aggiornare. La lingua del programma è l'inglese ma attraverso un language pack saranno disponibili diverse lingue tra cui l'italiano. Inoltre è molto leggero al sistema.

Spy Bot Search and Destroy Tra i migliori programmi di ricerca di spyware e chiavi di registro infette. Oramai è diventato diffusissimo proprio per la sua semplicità e completezza. Piuttosto facile da usare e da aggiornare. Immancabile per tutti coloro che vogliono essere protetti.

si vede che non è possibile tramite un tool. E poi dubito che sono dei buoni a nulla..quando c'era il blaster, uno dei primi fix removal tool è stato by symantec,quindi se è possibile, l'avrebbero fatto,non credi?

ciao a tutti,da alcuni giorni AVG 7 non riesce ad aggiornarsi dicendomi o che la connessione è fallita oppure si blocca durante il download.cosa devo fare?
