Last week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft and Silicon Knights announced their publishing agreement for Too Human, a trilogy of action adventure games scheduled for release on the Xbox 360. In this month's Electronic Gaming Monthly, more details on the games have been revealed.
Too Human plants players in control of no ordinary main character, but as the god Balder. While exploring a mythical future past (whatever that means), Too Human will apparently immerse players in "sweeping, epic battles" amidst "oceans of organized enemies."
Creating lofty expectations right off the bat, Silicon Knights describes Too Human as "the Xbox 360's God of War." Stepping past comparisons, however, the developer confirms two-player Xbox Live co-operative gameplay is planned.
If anything, Too Human will be all but simplistic. "Too Human will immerse players in battles between cybernetic gods, machine giants, and mortal men on a scale never before seen," says producer Denis Dyack.
The first game in the planned three is scheduled for a release in the fall of next year. Expect to hear much on Too Human before then.
