which will open gates. Activate them and then descend the ladder to the
South. Press the switch right in front of you. Head East, North, West,
North, East and climb the stairs. At the top the path will lead to a gate
which you can open. Unlock it and head West (save your game.)

Follow the hallway East back to the second floor. Approach the Mysterious
Wall and use the Umugi Stone. Head straight South and descend the ladder. If
you examine your map you will see there are three ladders on the South side,
you want the one in the middle so go around and descend it. Head up a little,
to the West is the Collector Manikin, the one you recognize from the Great
Underpass, speak to him to receive the Spoon. Take a few steps East and jump
down the hole, then a few steps West and jump down the next one. Speak to the
manikin who asked for the spoon. Head West and North and use the Umugi Stone
on the wall. Go to where the manakin's cell was and jump down the holehe
created. Follow the hallway to the stairs, on you way down the hall on the
West side open the gate via the panel. Continue South and climb the ladder at
the bottom. Straight ahead of you is a save point, use it. Go back down the
ladder and through the gate you opened up. Use the Mysterious Wall to return
to the mirage world. Now that the gate to the East is open go through it, head
South and descend the ladder. Make your way North here, a manakin will speak
