Con molti mesi d’anticipo, il conduttore Geoff Keighley ha annunciato la data in cui si terrà la cerimonia di premiazione dei The Game Awards 2018, evento creato da lui stesso nel 2014. Le premiazioni si terranno il 6 dicembre 2018 alle ore 02:30 italiane presso il Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles. I biglietti saranno invece in vendita a partire da domani 8 giugno.
La scorsa edizione dei The Game Awards 2017 ha visto prevalere The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild come Game of the Year, ma allo stesso tempo sono stati annunciati diversi titoli, tra cui Bayonetta 3 e Shadow Die Twice di From Software. Come non ricordare anche l’inatteso nuovo trailer di Death Stranding, mandato in onda in occasione della cerimonia di premiazione. Il buon Keighley promette che anche l’edizione 2018 regalerà diverse emozioni.
