Nintendo games are free, the service is free, and last but not lest, 3rd party developers have the option to charge.



Friends
Here is some information on your “buddies” list.

Say if your DS is next to another DS, you can exchange contact details, there will be a list for friends, as in friends you know in real life, and people you meet, while playing an online game.


Pictochat
Firstly, Pictochat will upgrade to Online, with it, the online confirmed details are, and you can send an “invite” to someone, asking if they want to play an online game.

Other Random facts
- The DS uses a Mac address, so when you want to give your details to someone, it will give you a read out with your information, which you can tell people (all DS’s have this before online is available)

- The serves launch is world wide in November 2005

- You have profiles, for different locations, such as at work, at home, or using a free service

- You give friends, a easier number, (with less digits ect) then your Mac address

- Malls, retail areas ECT. Will have hot spots, as well as DS download centers
