Mr. Kennedy
What’s up, I’m Mr. Kennedy and this is my blog on FHM Online.
I just got home from a European tour and it was rough—11 days, 11 cities, three different countries and not a lot of sleep. I didn’t really go out and party much, but the first night I went to the bar till 5 or 6 in the morning then slept all day. Out of the whole tour, I had exactly two hours to go to the Coliseum in Rome. That’s all I saw the whole time I was there, but that’s fine because I’m there to work.
We had two buses that took us around to the different cities. There were some nights when we’d get done at midnight and get on the bus and drive for six hours. It was cramped, but we had fun. We would sit up and talk or watch movies or drink or whatever. We have quite a few gamers too. Mark Henry brings his Xbox 360 with him wherever he goes. Shelton Benjamin is probably the biggest gamer out of all of us. Kane is a big gamer. I’m a big gamer. Right now, I’m really into The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii.
Being on the road is pretty rough for us, but the thing I missed the most about home was the food. The food in Europe is horrible. The worst Italian food I’ve ever had is in Italy. It is all very bland, very plain. The best meals we had there were McDonald’s and Pizza Hut.
In the last two years I’ve been on the road, I’ve gotten to see so many great places. We don’t go to countries like Italy very often so when we do it’s a real treat for the fans. They’re a lot more vocal. In Italy, we were pretty close to sold out, but there were empty seats and the fans were still louder than a lot of the crowds in the states in sold-out arenas. It’s a pretty awesome experience.
