Bioshock 2 rinviato al 2010

BioShock 2 has been delayed until Fiscal 2010

According to Geoff Keighley, BioShock 2 has been officially delay to the fiscal of 2010. Geoff when on to say "Take Two has a conference call in 30 mins to discuss the BioShock 2 delay. Hopefully we will find out what "fiscal 2010" means...."

BioShock 2, originally scheduled for an early November release, has been delayed. As a result, Take-Two has announced that it’s significantly reducing its fiscal guidance.

Now floating in the nebulous purgatory of Take-Two’s fiscal 2010, a concrete release date for BioShock 2 has not been set. Fiscal 2010 begins in November, though, so the delay’s probably nothing to sneeze at.

“We recognize that our revised outlook for the balance of fiscal year 2009, due to both internal and external factors, is a disappointment. That said, we concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product. We believe the result will be a more compelling consumer experience and a better performing product in the marketplace,” said Strauss Zelnick, Chairman of Take-Two.

Aspè,provo ad indovinare: Bioshock 2 e CoD MW2 uscirebbero nello stesso periodo,quindi la Take Two ha preferito non rischiare.

Da una parte mi dispiace, dall'altra sono contento perchè ci sono fin troppi giochi day-one entro fine anno.

Non so se essere contento di questa cosa o meno Mi disp di non poter giocare a Bio quando speravo,ma almeno le mie tasche respireranno un po quest'anno.
Però visti i giochi rimandati,inizio 2010 ne uscirà di roba(mafia 2,gow 3 e Bio 2)

Guillaume de Fondaumiere di Quantic Dreams ha dichiarato a GamesIndustry.biz che l’esclusiva Playstation 3, Heavy Rain, è stata rinviata al 2010 esclusivamente per ragioni commerciali. La data prevista inizialmente, l’inverno 2009, è stata scartata a causa dell’elevato numero di possibili blockbuster che saranno pubblicati nello stesso periodo.
"È un periodo molto affollato e alcuni giochi hanno bisogno di maggior visibilità", ha dichiarato il responsabile Quantic Dreams, "Tutti quelli che stanno lavorando al progetto, sia Quantic Dreams che Sony, pensano che rinviare il gioco al 2010 sia stata una decisione corretta".
