There’s some fantastic news today for European fans of Inazuma Eleven. Arait Multimedia recently announced that they have acquired the rights to the franchise. And on the company’s website, it is noted that “the licensing program shall be extended to the European level during the 2nd quarter of 2010, led by the existing Nintendo DS games.”
Arait Multimedia will not be publishing any Inazuma Eleven titles, as they are not a video game publisher. However, Level-5’s Akihiro Hino has mentioned that a release date will be announced for the first Inazuma Eleven game “when the time is right.”
There’s one last piece of important news. Hino has also said that there are plans to bring all of the Atamania titles to Europe. This includes the Sloane & MacHale and puzzle collections series."
