Toriyama-sensei himself mentions that this is the first time he has been so deeply involved in the production of a Dragon Ball Z anime piece, in this case as early as the screenwriting stages. He continues on to say that it’s been a while since he has worked on Dragon Ball Z, so he had forgotten a bit, but as the creator of the series, he was able to get back into the DBZ groove! Additionally, Toriyama-sensei says while the original Dragon Ball Z atmosphere will be left intact, the movie team has added a bit of modern flavor at the same time. In his opinion the new movie will be an enjoyable piece, just like old times!
Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Toei Animation, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games will all be a part of the movie’s production committee. There is a website for the movie, www.dragonball2013.com, but at this time the page is pretty much blank.
It’s unclear where in the Dragon Ball Z story the movie will fit in exactly, but the announcement image below features Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Vegeta, Trunks, and Goten as they were in the Majin Buu saga. The movie is scheduled for a March 30, 2013 release.







The Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie will be the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. To date, there have been 4 Dragon Ball movies and 13 Dragon Ball Z movies. Of the 13 Dragon Ball Z, all have been spin-offs that have nothing to do with the story of Dragon Ball Z. The new 2013 movie, however, will change things. Multiple sources have informed Saiyan Island the Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie story will be a part of the Dragon Ball Z series.
The timeline is between Dragon Ball Z manga chapters 323 and 324 or 517 (or 517 and 518 when factoring in the original Dragon Ball). In other words, Dragon Ball Z 2013 will tell the story of what happens after Goku defeats Kid Buu, but before the 10 year timeskip and the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament.
The director of the Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie will be Masahiro Hosoda, who has worked on Dragon Ball Z and Naruto Shippuden episodes. Screenplay will be by Yusuke Watanabe from the live-action 20th Century Boys trilogy and Tadayoshi Yamamuro from Dragon Ball Movie 4: The Path to Power and One Piece Film Strong World will be acting as the lead animation director. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Z, and his company (Bird Studio) will be deeply involved in the production of the movie.
There is a list of other companies who are also involved in the production, including Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games. Dragon Ball Z 2013 (tentative title) will be released in Japanese theaters on March 30, 2013. No word for a North American or European release at this time.

L'ho guardato giusto perchè mi interessa relativamente, il film. L'inizio è brutto perchè quel coso proprio non si può vedere, tra l'altro con quel look è qualcosa di abominevole. Il combattimento è un classico di DB, sfida pari a 0. Animazioni un pò cosi, qualcosa di meglio nel 2013 è lecito aspettarselo.

Mi sembra di capire che Bills sia entusiasmato all'idea di affrontare un Super Saiyan God, non conoscendo la differenza col Super Saiyan normale. Ma non so il giapponese, è un'ipotesi formulata guardando il suo comportamento.

Potrebbe essere benissimo. Ma quindi la base di partenza del film è che già si conosce lo stadio God?

Alla fine voglio Goku in SSJG che si incazza dibbbrutto e diventa SSJG3 con i capelli rossi e lunghi e spacca tutto. Spero in nessuna Genkidama grande quanto la galassia.

Comunque sembra proprio che Bills abbia confuso il SSJGod con un qualunque Super Saiyan.

E mi fa piacere che non abbiano considerato le saghe successive a quella di Freezer

Comunque, nel capitolo 519 Di Dragon Ball, cioè dopo il timeskip di 10 anni, Goku dice a Bulma che 5 anni prima si erano già incontrati tutti. E forse qui che si inserisce il film?
