• Enhanced Visuals – The look and feel of the game has been enhanced with new player models, motion captured animations, detailed geometry, new lighting and themes, improved cameras and more.
• Redesigned UI – The games UI has received a complete overhaul to make it more user friendly and immediate for players.
• New Commands and Gameplay Tweaks – Players can now Sweep around a fixed point as well as Aim in a fixed direction, a dynamic cone of vision shows you exactly where your unit can see, you can now focus or ignore on individual rooms quickly, firefights can end with both units dying and rockets can now direct hit another unit and explode on impact.
• New and Improved Campaign – The campaign story has been restructured, individual missions have been redesigned to make them more fun and the difficulty curve has been improved particularly in the early missions.
• Multiplayer Overhaul – Each multiplayer mode has been tweaked to improve the player experience - rule changes, scoring changes, improved feedback and more. Creating and finding a match is now much easier and replays of all your matches are available in the Replay Theatre.
• New SFX – The entire game has had its sound effects reworked, from the guns and explosions to the front end menus, all balanced with the epic soundtrack.
• Customization – Fully customize and preview the map layout and your squad of units before each Skirmish or Multiplayer match.
• Tutorials – Two new tutorial missions perfect for getting you up to speed with how the game is played very quickly.
• Hints Bar – The Hints Bar gives you an overview of what you can do at any given time, helping new players learn the game’s controls and commands really easily.
• New ways to play - Fully playable with XInput controllers (perfect for Big Picture) as well as full keyboard and mouse controls.
• Optimizations – Level and Map Generation is now much faster.
