salve ragazzi, cosa posso aggiornare della mia configurazione? ovviamente senza spendere più di 100 euro xkè è già vecchiotto

il 955 non è socket am3? La sua scheda madre mi sembra supporti solo AM2

AMD confirmed that there is an upgrade path from Socket AM2+ to AM3:

AM3 processors work on AM2+ motherboards due to the presence of both the DDR2 and DDR3 memory controllers on the processor
AM2+ processors do not work on AM3 motherboards due to the processor's lack of a DDR3 memory controller

quelle CPU sono retrocompatibili col socket am2+, basta controllare sul sito, come ha scitto black dragon, previo aggiornamento del bios

in teoria regge pure i phenom X6

Esattamente. Previo aggiornamento del bios vanno anche i phenom II X6. Non puoi mettere i bulldozer perchè hanno cambiato socket
