Knight of the Force è il miglior mod disponibile per Jedi Academy. Nella versione 2.0 dispone di 100 personaggi tratti dai film/fumetti/serie televisiva, 40 veicoli, 70 mappe multiplayer. Questi sono alcuni numeri di questa impressionante opera portata avanti soprattutto dallo sviluppatore Osman Günyaz (Tim).
Ho creato questo thread per annunciare l'arrivo, ormai imminente, della versione 3.0



I miglioramenti rispetto alla precedente versione sono molteplici, non appena sarà disponibile un changelog lo posterò. Per il momento dobbiamo accontentarci delle righe che accompagnano il video:

I want you to very well organized for the KotF translations.If we can become one body we can finish this game. We develop the game in 9 different languages. ( Turkish, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, French, Hungarian). I assign a lead translater for every single language. This leader will work with you on trasnlate the files equaly. If you wanna play a role for the translation please reply right forum topic. So many trasnlaters mean so soon the game. If you work fast then I can work fast too. I need to test every single trasnlate file in the game and fix the bugs if there any. (some texts are not fit in the screen etc.)

You can browse new, advanced features of the game.I prepared a 17-minute preview video. Share it with your friend and you can't miss that video!

By the way, I added some new effects and animations on multiplayer and singleplayer. I'm dealing with some tests and bugs about it. Also recreating the game's CD-Menu. New CD-Menu is silent, faster, advanced and user friend. All the new episodes of the game and multiplayer mods will be able to startable as fast.

Also now, we have very much new effect options in the singleplayer part. You will be able to choose effects and animations to your computer performance and/or for your self-wish from this menu. On multiplayer; as you know there are four different play modes: KotF v1.7 JKA - KotF v2.0 RPG - KotF Force Mod III - KotF JA+v2.4, each of them have different playing style and features. KotF v2.0 RPG is including the effects and animations that I mentioned above. (new stances and swings, jumps, taunts, running, walking, new lightning effects, saber blades, and clashing effects along with new sounds) Apart from these, I added 10 new map that maden by Jedi Knight community on KotF. You can play in these maps in multiplayer and also in singleplayer with KotF Add/load System.

KotF 3.0 will be able to installed on KotF 2.0 or/either original Jedi Academy in the same time. The setup requirement is just one of them on your pc. You know that KotF was being dedected as trojan for some anti-virus programs. I'm testing various programs on XP and Win7 with KotF to foresee the problems and making solutions. In short; KotF 3.0 will be more user friend system.

Al momento è tradotto in 9 lingue, tra le quali purtroppo non figura l'italiano, che non è nemmeno previsto allo stato attuale. Ho però letto che se ci saranno dei team disposti a farlo, sarà possibile aggiungerne altre. Se ci fosse qualcuno con conoscenze d'inglese e tempo da dedicarvi, mi contatti in mp. Siamo già in due, un traduttore e un correttore di bozze/portavoce.

Playing KotF with Jedi Academy Steam version As you know, you need to own Jedi Academy in order to play Knights of the Force. Now, you can purchase Jedi Academy online for the reasonable price of $5-$10 from several game portals (Steam being the foremost). I have received many emails about not being able to install Knights of the Force on the Steam version of Jedi Academy. I'll give detailed instructions about how you should proceed installing KotF.

During KotF installation, you must select the installation destination as follows:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\jedi academy\"

You will be able to install it without any problems. However, the 1.01 update of Jedi Academy CD version inside KotF, and because of this update, KotF cannot run without Jedi Academy CD, therefore you'll receive the following error when you try to start the game: "Disk 1 not in drive"

To fix this, download the file from the link , open it and copy it here:
"Steam\steamapps\common\KotF Jedi Academy Expansion Pack\GameData\"

The only thing left to do is to enjoy KotF

Dopo lo trduco e lo metto in OP. Ovviamente vale per la versione 2.0, ma probabilmente per la 3.0 ci sarà qualcosa di simile

Credo di sì, anche se il gioco è chiaramente incentrato sul multiplayer. Mi ricordo vagamente di un altro mod, sempre per Jedi Academy, che era solo SP e offriva un gameplay molto valido. Se poi mi torna in mente ne posto il nome.
