In todays press conference in Germany, Rare announced exciting news for all Nintendo gamers out there. We'll let you read it yourself:
"When we did Banjo 1 & 2 for Nintendo 64, we had already planned a third installment. But then came Gamecube, and many of Rare's staff who had worked on the Nintendo systems was excited. Our company was doing, not so well, and we didn't finish lot of the plans we had began to work with. And then, when we had began to finish Star Fox Adventures, Nintendo decided to let us go. Of course, we were all really chocked, and many of us quit working for Rare. The third Banjo Kazooie game was delayed for those reasons. Then the next gen systems came, and we finally decided to get back and work on our Banjo project. It wasn't an easy choice, since so many of the great designers had left us, but we said to try and make our best. Now, two years later, it's nearly finished, and I'm going to tell you we have plans to release it in July for both the Xbox and Wii system! Now you will say that the Wii can't handle the graphics and so on, but I promise, we'll do our best to get the two versions as identical as possible..."
