Il 3DS è stato finalmente mostrato durante il corso della conferenza Nintendo dell'ultimo E3.

Utilizziamo questo topic per condivide e commentare TUTTO il materiale relativo alla line-up della prossima console portatile Nintendo.

Rumor generali sulla console

According to the paper, gamers will be able copy 3DS software to internal memory. Multiple games can be stored with the system in this fashion. You'll be able to switch between games by selecting a title from the system's main menu.

The paper notes that due to this feature, there'll be no need to swap cartridges. When outside of the home, you won't need to carry game cartridges with you

Animal Crossing

Kingdom Hearts 3D

Spoiler:

- Sora and Riku are sitting by the starfruit tree on Destiny Islands
- Riku disappears, Sora calls after him and runs around the island
- Locale shown off, looks just like the PS2 game
- Sora has the glide ability already, flies around the island
- Riku then shown walking up Traverse Town, he steps into a courtyard which is occupied by Heartless
- Riku looks up and the sky starts raining Soras
- One of the Soras lands and takes out his Keyblade, he takes on Heartless
- Once the Heartless are defeated, a big soldier Heartless boss appears
- Sora then snaps awake on Destiny Island, Kairi is with him by the starfruit tree

- Development started when Nintendo provided details about the 3DS for Square Enix
- Tetsuya Nomura had a general framework for gameplay systems as well as a story that he thought would match the 3DS’ visuals
- Kingdom Hearts 3D not the final name but it will somehow involve the final name (3D not for 3 Dimension, but it is an abbreviation for the subtitle)
- Story is unexpected, atypical based on the happenings that have taken place in the series and what fans have expected
- Story hints in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
- Team is thinking of three new gameplay systems
- Again, developed by the Square Enix Osaka (Birth by Sleep) team
- Kingdom Hearts 3D demo was made very quickly

This is because it’s not a remake, but a completely original game. This time, Sora and Riku are the two main characters. We’re currently in the process of selecting new worlds. ‘KH3D’ will be a title that enters a new step to follow the three games whose production was announced simultaneously, ‘358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, and Coded.”

“It’s like one game has been added. My purpose in coming to E3 wasn’t just for the announcement but for a meeting as well. I’m scheduled to come to next year’s E3 too. There are still surprise titles, but first enjoy Re: Coded, whose release date we’re set to announce shortly.”

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

“We’ve talked about remixing Ocarina of Time for a long time, saying ’should we remake Ocarina of Time for Wii?’ And, to be honest, I said no. I didn’t want to just re-release it on a different platform — I wanted to have a specific reason to remake Ocarina of Time. I didn’t want to just make a port. And so I was waiting for something to come along that would not only help us to retell the story, but improve upon it. Making it different, more unique in its own way. Now, with 3D, we’re able to take the environments of Hyrule and add depth — giving them a more expansive feeling, a more immersive feeling. In addition to that, now that we have the 3D we can looking forward to new ways to implement 3D into the gameplay and make it fresh and new. And we also have the motion sensors that are built-in to the Nintendo 3DS. So we’re looking at quite a few ways to make the gameplay more immersive, more natural, more accessible. So again, not just a port — but a retelling of the tale using new technologies to reinvent it.”

“We are working on a big franchise of Ubisoft Montreal right now and we are producing it on the new Nintendo 3DS. I can’t really say much detail about it right now, but please look forward to it.”

Reggie ha confermato che il 3DS non uscirà in America prima del 2011, quindi al 99,9% lo stesso accadrà anche in Europa. Probabile che in Giappone possano averlo per Natale 2010.

Più che Lite direi XL, già attualmente dalle misure pare più piccolo del DS Lite, quindi un altro Lite non credo che lo faranno, al limite XL.

Vabbè, parliamo di 10 euro in più per giochi sviluppati su hardware nettamente più performante ed in 3d. Non mi pare chel a gente boicotti i giochi per ps360 perchè costano 10 euro in più del software per Wii, eh.

Se anche fosse, è un prezzo giustissimo. Semmai sono i prezzi attuali dei giochi ds ad essere troppo alti (se ovviamente si compra nei negozi e non online).

Rapportando lo schermo inferiore(in entrambe le console ha la stessa dimensione, giusto?) al resto della scocca direi che il 3ds è decisamente più grande del lite. Non che la cosa non vada bene, d'altronde con tutto quel ben di dio che ci hanno ficcato dentro!

Beh, basta vedere Iwata che lo mette nella tasca della sua giacca formale e si sa che le tasche di quel tipo sono delicate e piccole soprattutto.....poi chi l'ha provato con mano, afferma che è più piccolo del DS lite, ci sembra più grande solo perchè ci sono tre tasti sul touch screen, ma se li levate sembra proprio un lite.
Lo schermo superiore è largo circa 3.55 mi pare, e sotto sempre 3 netti, quindi non sono tanto uguali...se parli solo di quello inferiore del Lite e del 3DS sì, hanno la stessa dimensione, solo che ripeto ci sono tre pulsanti sopra, per questo ci sembra più grande.
Secondo me è solo poco meno sottile, ma in lunghezza è simile al lite...

Però l'idea che possano rilasciare una versione aggiornata poco dopo, magari a solo un anno di distanza mi preoccupa.
Sta di fatto che lo prenderò al 100% anche perchè sta generazione di portatili l'ho saltata completamente, però non al lancio i difetti delle console come la 360 o il primo ds o appunto la ps2 come diceva Blue, sono troppi e non mi va di rischiare...
