Baten Kaitos' Shinji Noguchi
Shingi Noguchi has said that feedback from gamers would love a DS version of Baten Kaitos and that a card based game like Baten Kaitos would work well with the touch panel.

All I can say is, wow. Nintendo is getting so much support for its third-pillar system. Not to mention, if Baten Kaitos did come to the DS-- and I know it's a stretch-- that would mean starting an all-new franchise and series for BK. Amazing. Getting a little ahead of ourselves, sure, but it's fun to be optimistic. ^_^ Now it all depends on how well the GC game does after it's released.
