News has been burning our ears for some weeks now that seemed unbelievable – too good to be true. We were told by several different sources that Square Enix was underway with a Final Fantasy VII offshoot, carrying the tentative name Final Fantasy VII Gaiden.

And it turns out to be true!

Called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the game is a classic RPG set in the FFVII world in the time after the original game had concluded.

It is thought that the game will be completely overhauled with PlayStation 2 graphics replacing those found in the PSone original, not merely using the original engine and graphics as expected.

Other interesting gossip points towards a possible Xbox release. Indeed, SE stated that the game will be released on DVD, though at time of going to press, has refused to commit to a platform. It might be a movie, or interactive DVD, perhaps using the Nuon platform.

Niente di nuovo… si ipotizza quella scritta DVD è dovuta all'incertezza della piattaforma di destinazione.

e che sia un rpg nel mondo di ff7 2 anni dopo ff7.....ma si parla di news non sicure.ora abbiamo il mistery title del tgs2003 sicuro blockbuster. 1 giorno e sapremo cosa sia.

Sephiroth mi ricorda un incorcio tra la raggazzota di The Ring e Neo...

E Cloud sembra Tidus...ma qual è la fonte? Voglio non fidarmi di questo, io sognavo un remake di FFVII e mi danno un film? E oltretutto presentare un film al TGS non è segno di una grande bastardata commerciale?


KH2...al contrario del video, ciò sembra mostrare che di atmosferà Dark e matura nel gioco non ce ne sarà più di tanta...ma continuo a sperare che non sia vero, specie FFVII film...no no no...8(

Non so proprio cosa pensare, l'unica cosa che non capisco e quale sia il titolo segreto che venderà milioni di copie?FFVII dvd film avrei preferito qualcosa da giocare se proprio dovevano resuscitarlo, KH 2 non mi ispira molto, mi sembra molto simile al primo, FFXII spero solo che chi si sta occupando del film di FFVII si stia occupando anche dei filmati del gioco di Matsuno......cmq per me è una giornata molto triste.....

Sposo anche io la teoria del FMV che preannuncia un bel giochillo, cmq per me il Chara è ottimo.

Ancora una volta abbiamo capito chi è che comanda negli FMV, se ancora c'era bisogno di dirlo.

Per KH2, non vedo l'ora di vedere il trailer! :9

sono soltanto speculazioni è pettegolezzi,come dice l'articolo,un game Square/Enix per il box è altamente improbabile per non dire impossibile,visto che in Square/Enix hanno sempre dimostrato un totale disinteressamento per questa piattaforma (il box) ,cmq tutte gli indizi portano a un game PS2,anche perche la Sony sbandiera di un gioco a sorpresa al TGS 2003 per PS2 da parte di Square/Enix gia da inizio settimana, adesso cominciano a circolare questi screen di FF7( che ancora purtroppo non sappiamo che cosa riguarderà) ,cmq l'unica cosa certa è che riguarda PS2 ,qualsiasi cosa sia,visto i proclami di Sony, quindi se tanto mi da tanto .
