Yup, dalla wiki:
The protagonist is now capable of choosing which partner joins him in battle, with them each specializing in a different role. So far six characters have been revealed for the role. Those not acting as a partner in battle can aid the party with an assist attack.
The Moon Phase System returns in the game. Light spells are capable of inflicting damage. Demons now speak while attacking or hurt. The negotiation system has been updated. Human units can be leveled up just like demons. Demons using magic they specialize in will deal more damage.
