I fan di The Last of Us ricorderanno con affetto l’iconica scena delle giraffe presente nella sezione primaverile (quindi verso la fine del gioco) del titolo di Naughty Dog. Il connubio The Last of Us-giraffe potrebbe essere replicato anche nel sequel del survival-horror, The Last of Us: Part II e qualcuno avrebbe fatto la sua auto-candidatura per interpretare il ruolo di una giraffa.
In maniera molto scherzosa (o forse no?) il conduttore Geoff Keighley, colui che ha inventato i The Game Awards, è intervenuto tramite Twitter per mostrare il suo provino da giraffa a Neil Druckmann, con tanto di apposita App scaricata sul suo smartphone. Il Geoff giraffa ha prima fatto un normale provino per poi, su richiesta dello stesso Druckmann, si è esibito in una performance canora.
Questo però non ha ancora convinto il direttore creativo dell’esclusiva PlayStation 4, che ha chiesto al povero Keighley altre esibizioni prima di prendere la decisione. Intanto l’action-game non ha ancora una data d’uscita ben precisa!
