Joker, nonostante fosse uno dei film favoriti agli Oscar di quest’anno (qui trovate tutti i vincitori), ha trionfato in due categorie: Miglior colonna sonora assegnato alla compositrice Hildur Guðnadóttir e Miglior attore protagonista al pluripremiato Joaquin Phoenix, il nome più chiacchierato e probabile per la statuetta in questione, che infine ha avuto la meglio contro Driver, DiCaprio, Pryce e Banderas.
