1917 è il nuovo film di guerra di Sam Mendes (qui è disponibile l’ultimo trailer rilasciato) che arriverà nelle sale italiane dal 23 gennaio 2020. L’opera, che ha una sceneggiatura dello stesso filmaker con Krysty Wilson-Cairns, racconta un episodio della prima guerra mondiale visto dal punto di vista di due soldati britannici, ai quali viene assegnata una missione di notevole importanza: consegnare un messaggio dall’altra parte del fronte.

Nonostante la pellicola non sia ancora uscita, il sito Screen Rant ha riportato i primi commenti di alcuni fortunati che sono riusciti già a vederlo (tra i quali figura il regista Edgar Wright).
