Netflix ha annunciato Sweet Tooth, nuova serie originale basata sui fumetti creati da Jeff Lemire per DC.
La serie, in 8 episodi, racconta la storia del giovane Gus – metà ragazzo, metà cervo – che lascia la sua dimora nella foresta per scoprire un mondo devastato da un evento catastrofico. Gus si unisce a una famiglia di altre creature ibride, metà umani e metà animali, per trovare risposte dietro a questo nuovo mondo e al mistero delle proprie origini.
Nel cast ci sono Christian Convery (Beautiful Boy, Tiger Rising, Non si scherza col fuoco), Nonso Anozie (The Laundromat, Zoo, Trono di Spade), Adeel Akhtar (I miserabili – la serie, Vittoria & Abdul, The Big Sick – Il matrimonio si può evitare), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth, Saturday Night Live) e con James Brolin (Life in Pieces, Amityville Horror, Westworld) come voce narrante nei Paesi di lingua anglofona.
