L’insider “Rino” (molto quotato per aver anticipato l’esistenza di The Last of Us Part I) sta facendo parlare di sé in queste ore per aver diffuso in rete una nuova indiscrezione, legata sempre al franchise di Naughty Dog. Stando al suo ultimo tweet (in calce alla notizia), l’insider avrebbe di fatto confermato l’esistenza di The Last of Us Part II Director’s Cut (già rumoreggiato lo scorso anno), con il gioco in sviluppo per PlayStation 5 (e probabilmente anche per PC).
Rino ha specificato che le informazioni gli sono state date dalla stessa fonte che al tempo gli confermò l’esistenza di The Last of Us Part I. Inoltre, ha affermato che il video legato alle ottimizzazioni di Part II su PlayStation 5 è improvvisamente sparito dalla playlist del canale ufficiale YouTube di PlayStation (abbiamo controllato ed effettivamente il video in questione è sparito).
Se l’indiscrezione dovesse risultare veritiera (molto probabilmente si concretizzerà), l’avventura di Ellie ed Abby seguirà dunque le orme di Ghost of Tsushima e Death Stranding, passati alla next-gen grazie alle loro Director’s Cut. Il titolo giungerà sul mercato nel 2023? Probabilmente lo scopriremo o tramite un reveal trailer pubblicato su YouTube, o in occasione di uno degli State of Play sicuramente previsti nel corso del prossimo anno.
