É stata pubblicata la lista completa di film che parteciperanno al festival di Cannes. La natura di questa lista è ovviamente provvisoria, è stato dichiarato che altri film potrebbero essere aggiunti nei prossimi giorni.
Ad aprire le danze in questa settantunesima edizione sarà Everybody Knows, di Asghar Farhadi che vede nel ruolo di protagonisti Penelope Cruz e Javier Bardem, entrambi presenti confermati per la serata di apertura il giorno 8 maggio.
Il festival di quest’anno ha sofferto di molte assenze illustri per via delle sua disputa con Netflix, della quale abbiamo parlato in un articolo precedente, che non presenterà nessuno dei suoi film in questa edizione.
