Street Fighter V Champion Edition sta per approdare su Nintendo Switch? Assolutamente no! Il rumor era stato diffuso nelle ultime ore dalla catena di negozi EB Games Canada, annunciando addirittura tramite Twitter la possibilità di pre-ordinare in negozio tale versione del picchiaduro di Capcom. Successivamente, sono arrivate ben due smentite.
La prima, molto divertente, è giunta niente poco di meno che dal game director Yoshinori Ono, che tramite il suo profilo Twitter ha prima ironizzato chiedendo dove fosse possibile ottenere questo prodotto, per poi confermare che non esiste alcuna versione Switch. Dopo un po’, anche la catena di negozi canadese ha specificato in un secondo tweet che si trattava di informazioni riportate in maniera erronea. Street Fighter V Champion Edition resta dunque un’esclusiva console PlayStation 4, oltre ad essere giocabile anche su PC.
