I nominati per i gamescom awards 2024 sono stati annunciati: la giuria, composta da giornalisti e creatori di giochi tedeschi e internazionali (tra cui il nostro Direttore Marco Accordi Rickards), ha selezionato i titoli più promettenti tra un gran numero di candidature.
I favoriti principali sono Little Nightmares 3 di Bandai Namco Entertainment e Dune: Awakening di Funcom, ciascuno con quattro nomination. Star Wars Outlaws di Ubisoft è nominato in tre categorie. Inoltre, 11bit Studios è in competizione con tre titoli The Alters, Creatures of Ava e Frostpunk 2, così come Bandai Namco Entertainment con Little Nightmares 3, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero e Unknown 9: Awakening.
Quest’anno, il gamescom award sarà assegnato in un totale di 15 categorie. I fan e i visitatori di gamescom avranno l’opportunità di votare insieme alla giuria di esperti per determinare chi riceverà i trofei tanto ambiti. Le votazioni inizieranno mercoledì 21 agosto. I fan e i visitatori potranno votare i loro preferiti nelle categorie Arts and Platform, così come nelle categorie Best of Show Floor e Best Trailer/Announcement, fino a giovedì 22 agosto alle 14:00 (CEST) su www.gamescom.global/en o sul posto tramite codice QR.
Durante il gamescom: Opening Night Live, sarà già annunciato il vincitore nella categoria del premio per la sostenibilità. Tutti gli altri vincitori saranno premiati durante lo spettacolo dei gamescom award venerdì 23 agosto dalle 14:00 alle 17:00 (CEST) presso lo studio di gamescom ospitato da IGN (Hall 7).
