Arriva Amiga Icaros Desktop 2.2

Amiga Icaros Desktop 2.2 arriva finalmente sui nostri schermi. Si tratta di un sistema operativo AROS per PC dedicato al mondo Commodore Amiga. Il precedente rilascio risale allo scorso Natale.  Tra le novità introdotte dagli sviluppatori spicca una interfaccia grafica utente (GUI) ampiamente rivista e corretta, davvero benna da vedere.  Tutto, dalle finestre agli gli sfondi ai colori e agli strumenti appare completamente nuovo.

Amiga Icaros Desktop 2.2 offre anche alcuni programmi incorporati molto interessanti, come quello per disegnare, ZunePaint scritto da Yannick Erb, davvero ben realizzato. Da notare anche l’implementazione della nuova tecnologia HostBridge, in grado non solo di lanciare i programmi per e Windows e Linux direttamente da AROS, ma anche di usarli per aprire file ed anche impostarli come tool standard qualora ad AROS venissero a mancare le risorse disponibili.

Amiga Icaros Desktop 2.2 può essere usato come sistema operativo principale ma anche, se non vogliamo dargli troppo spazio, come se fosse un semplice programma per Windows e Linux.

La nuova interfaccia grafica utente di Amiga Icaros Desktop 2.2 è veramente affascinante, vi rapirà dal primo momento in cui la utilizzerete!
